As part of the preparation for this PDC, we are asking you to do a little thinking about the values of your organization. This PDC is all about identifying, understanding, and leveraging the core values in your organization in order to improve EHS performance.

So, before you come to the class, do a little research. What are the operational business values of your organization? We believe that management in an organization makes decisions based on the values of the organization.

You may want to review statements published by your organization, such as mission and values statements. Interview some members of the management team. In addition to published statements, are there any "unstated", but critical values used to make decisions at various levels in the organization?
